The company has recently formulated low application temperature (120C - 135C) hot melt adhesives also known as warm melts/cold melts. These adhesives will now be introduced progressively. Special features of these adhesives are:

Produce more powerful bonds than competitive products. Perform well in both hot and cold climates
Offer extreme thermal stability, so they have a longer pot life
Show a very consistent and stable viscosity. Bead size and placement can be precisely controlled
Formulated product have about 7% - 9% lower viscosities than conventional EVA based adhesives. Low density means more output per kg of adhesive
Bonding characteristics are aggressive and therefore less adhesive can be used per application
Adhere to a wide range of substrates
Less frequent nozzle cleaning/filter replacement

A typical carton sealing adhesive developed has shown the following characteristics:

Carton Sealing Adhesive:

Ring & Ball Softening Point	107C - 112C
Application Temperature	125C - 135C
Brookfield Viscosity@120C	1000 cps

These adhesives are extremely well suited for use in food packaging, case and carton sealing, bottle labelling, graphics arts and a vast range of other products.
